I think that adding a background
and working with should help.
Making the focus closer also.

well the focus is on the uper side.,,, after seeing your other fotos this one kind falls behind,,, its just a macro... it needs more...

I'm afraid that this one doesn't excite me. I guess there is no "story" or "theme" or "something" to cause me to have any feelings about it. For me the shallow DOF leaves the forground a very distracting jumble.

And, again it is probably just me, but the description doesn't really inspire me to see this differently. :/
